Job Title: Senior Security Architect

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Security Architect to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture by designing secure architectures, assessing security risks, and driving continuous security improvements. You will analyze security monitoring results, provide strategic recommendations, and translate business and security requirements into practical, cost-effective security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure enterprise architecture solutions.
• Analyze security monitoring results and recommend preventive, mitigating, and compensating controls.
• Lead security improvement initiatives to increase security maturity.
• Translate business and security requirements into actionable implementation plans.
• Advise stakeholders on risk-based and cost-effective security solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Support incident response activities and security governance.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Architect.
• Experience as an Enterprise Architect with a security specialization.
• Experience as a Security Incident Responder/Analyst.
• Experience with SOC monitoring services.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with the Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF).
• Strong architectural and conceptual design skills.
• Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2).
• Experience working within higher education.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of Business Solutioning and security risk management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
