Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow SecOps Engineer with strong expertise in Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and ServiceNow application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow Security Operations solutions, with a primary focus on SIR Workspace, playbooks, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities

Security Incident Response (SIR)

• Configure and enhance ServiceNow SIR Workspace.
• Design and develop SIR Playbooks using Playbook Designer and Flow Designer.
• Implement automated incident classification, enrichment, and response workflows.
• Develop custom remediation workflows and guided response actions.
• Optimize security incident management processes and automation.

ServiceNow SecOps

• Configure and support:
  • Security Incident Response (SIR)
  • Vulnerability Response (VR)
  • Threat Intelligence (TI)
  • Configuration Compliance (CC)
• Integrate ServiceNow with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Support platform upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, scripts, and integrations.

Development & Architecture

• Design and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
• Build workflows, automation, and integrations to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure code quality, reusability, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development teams and contribute to solution design.

Required Skills

Must-Have

• 8–10 years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Security Incident Response (SIR)
  • Vulnerability Response (VR)
  • ServiceNow SecOps modules
• Strong expertise in:
  • SIR Workspace customization
  • Playbook Designer
  • Flow Designer
  • Integration Hub
  • ServiceNow Studio
• Strong JavaScript development skills.
• Experience with:
  • Glide APIs
  • HTML
  • CSS/SCSS
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • SQL
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools and platforms.

Preferred

• ServiceNow Administrator Certification.
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – SIR.
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response.
• Experience with AngularJS or React.
• Experience leading small development teams.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
