About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join a central IT Platform Team, enabling development teams to build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently and securely.
You will play a key role in designing and maintaining cloud-native platforms, standardizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring scalable, reliable infrastructure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters (public & private)
- Manage Azure resources: subscriptions, resource groups, Key Vault, ACR, Service Bus, Storage, SQL
- Ensure platform security, scalability, and reliability (RBAC, TLS, network policies, managed identities)
- Support and operate OpenShift environments where applicable
CI/CD & DevOps Enablement
- Develop and maintain reusable CI/CD pipeline templates (YAML) in Azure DevOps
- Build multi-stage pipelines for .NET applications (build, test, package, deploy)
- Implement container-based deployments (Docker / ACR) and database deployments
- Enforce quality gates, security checks, and release governance
- Standardize deployment processes across all teams
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design and maintain Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure provisioning
- Automate infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
- Manage Terraform state and ensure safe, repeatable deployments
Azure DevOps & Repository Management
- Administer repositories, branching strategies (GitFlow), and CI/CD workflows
- Manage service connections, pipelines, agent pools, and approvals
- Maintain shared DevOps tooling and platform codebases
Collaboration & Support
- Act as a bridge between development and infrastructure teams
- Support onboarding of teams onto the platform
- Provide documentation, best practices, and troubleshooting guidance
- Review contributions to shared platform components
Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure (AKS, Key Vault, ACR, Service Bus, SQL, Storage)
- Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, CI/CD, repositories)
- Terraform (modules, state management, automation)
- PowerShell Core (scripting, modules)
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS): networking, scaling, Helm deployments
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud architecture
- Familiarity with .NET application lifecycle and containerization
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VNets, DNS, ingress, private endpoints)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Keycloak / identity management (OIDC)
- Familiarity with Docker optimization
- Experience with database deployment tools (DACPAC, sqlpackage)
- Knowledge of SonarQube or similar tools
- Exposure to confidential computing (Azure)
- Experience with OpenShift
