Overview

BMW Financial Services Belgium is looking for a driven Junior IT Analyst / IT Ops Support professional to support IT initiatives end-to-end within an Agile/DevOps environment.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary feature team, helping stakeholders translate business needs into clear functional requirements while ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.

This role combines functional analysis, operational support, stakeholder coordination, and process automation with exposure to modern technologies such as APIs, workflow automation, and agentic AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, structure, and refine functional requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Create clear specifications, user stories, and process documentation
  • Analyze current and future-state business processes and information flows
  • Support governance processes including compliance, legal, and architecture reviews
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, operations, and stakeholders
  • Provide second-line incident support and perform root-cause analysis
  • Coordinate issue resolution and document preventive and corrective actions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support workflow automation and AI-driven process initiatives using tools such as N8N
  • Assess integration patterns, APIs, dependencies, and technical risks

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a functional analysis or IT support-related role
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows (REST/SOAP)
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps and SDLC principles
  • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with an interest in operational support and troubleshooting
  • Interest in automation, workflow tooling, and AI/agentic AI concepts
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts
  • Understanding of data modeling, monitoring, and logging
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as N8N

  • Full-time assignment
  • Hybrid working model (up to 2 days remote)
  • Locations: Bornem & Aartselaar
  • Initial contract until December 2026 with possible extension
