About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on Network Observability Sensors and Smart Grid development.

You will play a key role in modernizing energy distribution networks by enabling real-time monitoring, data collection, and analysis, contributing to a more intelligent and secure grid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and delivery of the project, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
  • Manage scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead a cross-functional project team
  • Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with organizational standards
  • Translate business needs into actionable project plans
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and project performance
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Proven experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in French (CEFR C2 level)
  • Valid Driver's License (Category B)

Nice to Have

  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
  • Experience in Distribution System Operators (DSO) or energy sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Project Context

This role supports the development of a Smart Grid ecosystem, aimed at improving network observability and energy flow monitoring.

Key initiatives include:

  • Deployment of smart meters at low-voltage (LV) prosumer level
  • Monitoring systems for medium-voltage (MV) renewable energy producers
  • Enhancing real-time visibility of network performance and security

Additional Information

  • Duration: Until November 2027 (with possible 18-month extension)
  • Workload: Full-time
  • Estimated: 330 working days
  • Work model: Hybrid (approx. 3 days on-site per week)
  • Locations: Liège & Ans, with travel across the network region
  • Selection based on 60% quality and 40% price
