Senior IT Security Specialist – Phishing Awareness & Cybersecurity Program 

Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Security Specialist to design, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide phishing awareness and cybersecurity education program. The role focuses on developing a long-term awareness strategy, conducting phishing simulation campaigns, measuring security maturity, and strengthening the organization's cyber resilience within a Microsoft 365 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the current cybersecurity awareness maturity and phishing risk landscape.
• Define and implement a phishing awareness strategy covering a 12–24 month period.
• Design and manage phishing simulation campaigns, including scenarios, target audiences, and difficulty levels.
• Develop communication and awareness plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs, maturity metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
• Execute end-to-end phishing campaigns, including planning, configuration, deployment, analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze campaign results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to ensure long-term internal ownership of awareness initiatives.
• Support cybersecurity best practices aligned with security governance and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Cybersecurity Awareness and Phishing Simulation Programs.
• Expertise in Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Experience with cybersecurity analytics, reporting, and KPI development.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and security governance frameworks.
• Strong change management and communication skills.
• Experience designing and delivering security awareness initiatives across diverse user populations.
