Functional Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst with 10+ years of experience to join a project in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, requirements gathering, and modern API-driven application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models and data mapping documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on Java Spring Boot microservices and API design.
• Review Swagger documentation to ensure API quality and consistency.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Support Agile development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in Data Modelling and Data Mapping.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering and functional documentation.
• Knowledge of Java Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Familiarity with code review processes and software development best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
