Job Title: Senior Application Developer (PowerBuilder / .NET)
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – minimum 2 days on-site)

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to support the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of legacy business applications developed in PowerBuilder, ASP, .NET, and SQL environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support legacy applications, primarily developed in PowerBuilder
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance activities
• Analyse and resolve production incidents and technical issues
• Develop and implement functional adaptations and small enhancements
• Conduct technical analysis, performance optimization, and risk identification
• Support modernization, migration, and decommissioning initiatives
• Collaborate closely with functional analysts and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices

Requirements

• Strong expertise in PowerBuilder (versions 12 to 19 / PB2019)
• Extensive experience with .NET, PL/SQL, SQL, and Windows Services
• Experience with legacy application environments and modernization projects
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in public sector environments is considered an advantage
• Fluent in French with professional English knowledge; Dutch is a plus
