Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester with a strong background in retail systems and POS (Point of Sale) environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high application quality through detailed manual testing, validating retail workflows, and supporting end-to-end business scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of retail and POS applications
• Validate retail business workflows, including:
  • Sales transactions
  • Billing and payments
  • Promotions and discounts
  • Returns and refunds
• Design, execute, and maintain:
  • Test cases
  • Test scenarios
  • Test data
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
• Collaborate with:
  • Business stakeholders
  • Developers
  • Product teams
• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
• Ensure application stability across retail environments and systems integration
• Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Manual Testing / Functional Testing
• Strong experience with:
  • Retail systems
  • POS (Point of Sale) platforms
• Solid understanding of:
  • Retail business processes
  • Transaction flows and customer journeys
• Experience in:
  • Defect tracking and test execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in large-scale retail environments
• Exposure to end-to-end system integrations
• Familiarity with test management or defect tracking tools

Experience Required

• 10+ years in manual / functional testing
• Proven experience in retail and POS testing environments
