About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor – Installations to support infrastructure projects related to locks and weirs (sluices and hydraulic structures).
In this role, you will act as a key technical expert, ensuring that installation systems are designed, maintained, and executed to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in supporting operational reliability, safety, and long-term asset performance.
What You'll Do
You will:
- Provide technical advisory on installation systems within locks and weirs
- Support the design, maintenance, and optimization of technical installations
- Review and validate technical documentation, specifications, and drawings
- Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Identify risks and propose practical, cost-effective solutions
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical installations or infrastructure projects
- Completed HBO-level (or equivalent) qualification in a technical or engineering field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical installations
- Experience working with complex infrastructure environments (e.g., waterworks, industrial sites, or civil structures)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in teams
