About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor – Installations to support infrastructure projects related to locks and weirs (sluices and hydraulic structures).

In this role, you will act as a key technical expert, ensuring that installation systems are designed, maintained, and executed to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in supporting operational reliability, safety, and long-term asset performance.

What You'll Do

You will:

  • Provide technical advisory on installation systems within locks and weirs
  • Support the design, maintenance, and optimization of technical installations
  • Review and validate technical documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Identify risks and propose practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Contribute to project planning, execution, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical installations or infrastructure projects
  • Completed HBO-level (or equivalent) qualification in a technical or engineering field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical installations
  • Experience working with complex infrastructure environments (e.g., waterworks, industrial sites, or civil structures)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in teams
