Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a consultative approach. In this role, you will design, implement, and support Azure-native cloud solutions while partnering with internal teams to accelerate cloud adoption, improve platform usage, and promote best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical advisor, guiding teams on cloud platform standards, architecture decisions, and Azure-native implementations.
  • Design and develop cloud solutions aligned with the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework.
  • Create and maintain Azure landing zones and reference architectures to support secure and scalable cloud adoption.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and reusable cloud modules.
  • Support application teams through coaching, peer reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, community events, and hackathons to enhance cloud capabilities across the organization.
  • Provide second-line support for cloud platform incidents during business hours.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust cloud-native solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Azure DevOps
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash)
  • Experience working within enterprise governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, operational excellence, and Azure best practices.
  • Programming experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team environment.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within financial services, asset management, or wealth management environments.
  • Contributions to technical communities, open-source projects, blogs, or speaking engagements.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications are advantageous, including:
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • DevOps Engineer Expert
    • Azure Data Engineer Associate

Work Arrangement

  • Full-time office presence required during onboarding.
  • Hybrid working model thereafter, with at least one office day per week.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
