Senior Scrum Master

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams working on strategic digital healthcare initiatives with long-term roadmaps. The role involves coaching teams and stakeholders, facilitating Agile delivery, promoting Scrum best practices, and supporting large-scale coordination activities within a complex organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Scrum Master for multiple cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Foster continuous improvement, team autonomy, and Agile maturity.
  • Remove impediments and support teams in achieving delivery objectives.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between business, technical, and governance stakeholders.
  • Support Agile planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Monitor team performance and help establish metrics that drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote transparency, communication, and alignment across workstreams.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Agile governance and scaling practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in complex Agile environments.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience coaching development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile environments and multi-team coordination.
  • Experience working alongside project governance frameworks such as PRINCE2.
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience delivering projects within public-sector or highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to balance Agile principles with organizational constraints and governance requirements.
