Role Overview

We are seeking a medior/senior Contract Advisor to support large-scale water and infrastructure projects focused on improving water quality. The role involves managing contracts, monitoring risks, and ensuring effective collaboration with contractors within multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on contract management and contractual matters within projects
  • Monitor, analyze, and report risks and contract deviations
  • Support contract control using system-based contract management methods
  • Prepare and process contract modifications
  • Ensure compliance with contract agreements and project objectives
  • Act as a key contact for project teams and contractors
  • Participate in contract management meetings and progress discussions
  • Coordinate and manage contract-related information across disciplines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contract records
  • Handle administrative processes, including payment verification

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure (GWW) projects
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams and project delivery
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, management)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Contract and procurement management
    • Project management principles
    • Quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
    • System-based contract management
    • D&C / UAV-GC contracts
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Procurement law
    • Risk management
    • Systems engineering (SE)
    • Project control and quality standards
  • Strong command of Dutch (written and spoken)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with contract preparation, tendering, and execution of infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with system-based contract management and UAV-GC
  • Experience with contract requirements, changes, and contract management tools (e.g., Relatics/GRIP)
