Senior Business Architect – HR Transformation
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Architect to lead the design of a future-state business architecture within a large service-oriented organization. The initial focus will be on HR transformation, including time registration, core HR, and soft HR processes. The role is highly strategic, supporting executive decision-making and ensuring that organizational, process, and operating model choices are defined independently of any specific technology or vendor.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop the future business architecture and target operating model.
- Analyze current HR processes, governance structures, dependencies, and organizational challenges.
- Design future-state scenarios and transformation roadmaps for HR operations and related business functions.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across executive leadership, management, and operational teams.
- Establish guiding principles, business architecture frameworks, and governance models.
- Conduct gap analyses between current and target operating models.
- Develop transformation scenarios, risk assessments, and prioritization frameworks.
- Support strategic decision-making before software selection or implementation initiatives begin.
- Ensure vendor-neutral recommendations and business-driven transformation choices.
- Coach stakeholders on business architecture methodologies and change management practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in business architecture within complex organizations.
- Proven track record advising executive leadership, senior management, or C-level stakeholders.
- Strong experience in business transformation and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience defining target operating models and organizational transformation strategies.
- Knowledge of HR transformation, including core HR, soft HR, workforce administration, and time registration processes.
- Experience supporting procurement, vendor selection, or transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and change management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within service-oriented or people-centric organizations.
- Familiarity with HR systems, payroll processes, and workforce management solutions.
- Experience coaching teams on business architecture methodologies and governance practices.
