Hiring: NetApp Storage Consultant (6–8 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced NetApp Storage Consultant to join our team in Eindhoven. This role is ideal for a hands-on storage professional with deep expertise in NetApp technologies and enterprise storage environments. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining high-performance storage systems in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-level and high-level storage solutions (service building blocks)
• Perform Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate new features and technologies
• Manage new hardware setup validations and configurations
• Execute:
  • Disk partitioning and storage configurations
  • Storage network setup and logical design
• Lead data migrations from legacy systems to new storage platforms
• Perform firmware upgrades on:
  • Storage systems
  • Cisco cluster switches
• Troubleshoot issues during and after upgrades/migrations with urgency to minimize downtime
• Handle storage decommissioning activities
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams
• Follow ITSM processes and best practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in NetApp Storage environments
• Strong expertise in:
  • NetApp FAS & AFF systems
  • NetApp StorageGRID
  • NetApp E-Series (EF Series)
  • NetApp SolidFire
  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) & Cloud Backup Service (CBS)
• In-depth knowledge of NetApp ONTAP
• Experience with:
  • NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights
  • Automation tools (Ansible, Rundeck)
  • FC SAN (Cisco MDS switches)
  • Rubrik backup solutions
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Proven experience in enterprise-level NAS environments
• Working knowledge of VMware
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in vendor coordination and cross-team collaboration

Nice to Have

• Exposure to hybrid/cloud storage architectures
• Experience in large-scale migrations and transformation projects
