We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a focus on Customer Due Diligence (CDD/KYC) to help bridge the gap between business, legislation, and technology. In this role, you will contribute to improving processes, policies, and supporting systems within a compliance-driven environment.

This position requires on-site presence 2–3 days per week in Arnhem , so travel time should be taken into consideration.

Role Purpose

You will support the Management Team by translating business needs and regulatory requirements into practical, implementable solutions. Acting as a key liaison between business and technical teams (eg, IT and BI), you will help drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business needs, requirements, and stakeholder expectations
  • Identify and propose process improvements within CDD/KYC operations
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of improvement initiatives with stakeholders
  • Act as a sparring partner to the Management Team on strategic and operational topics
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and areas requiring management decisions
  • Contribute to policy, procedure, and workflow optimization
  • Support digitalization and data-driven initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO level or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst (CDD Analyst experience alone is not sufficient)
  • Experience with CDD/KYC processes
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (eg, WWFT, WFT, Sanctions regulations )
  • Experience with automation projects and data/BI processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, advisory, and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across different levels
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both required)
