Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant (HANA) to join our team in Eindhoven. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP system administration, installations, upgrades, and HANA database management. This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing complex SAP landscapes across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP system installations, including pre- and post-installation activities
• Execute client copies, system refreshes, and system copy procedures across landscapes
• Manage SAP upgrades (SAP NetWeaver, SAP components, support packages, and add-ons)
• Handle HANA database administration, including:
  • HANA revision upgrades
  • HANA replication
  • Table partitioning
• Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS)
• Perform SAP maintenance activities and ensure system performance and stability
• Support end-to-end SAP provisioning and system lifecycle management
• Work on public and private cloud environments (Azure, GCP preferred)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in SAP BASIS with HANA
• Strong expertise in:
  • SAP installations and upgrades
  • SAP system copies and refreshes
  • SAP add-on and support package upgrades
  • HANA database administration
• Experience with TMS configuration and transport management
• Hands-on experience with SAP landscapes and system administration
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/GCP) is an advantage
• Ability to manage both public and private cloud infrastructures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP system installations on cloud platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in an agile team environment
