We're Hiring: Desktop Support Engineer | Amsterdam (Netherlands)

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam on an 8-month contract with an immediate start.

Role Overview
In this role, you will provide end-user technical support, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and IT systems. You'll play a key role in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and enhancing overall user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, peripherals, and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems both remotely and onsite
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and configurations
  • Create and update knowledge base articles for common issues
  • Deliver user training and guidance on systems and applications
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Manage system security settings and protect against cyber threats

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support roles
  • Strong expertise in Desktop Management – Infrastructure Services (IS)
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of system maintenance and IT security practices
  • Excellent communication and user support skills

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Duration: 8 months
