Senior Web Developer – AI/LLM Integration

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to contribute to the development and integration of innovative digital applications within a multidisciplinary Agile team. The role focuses on JavaScript/Node.js, React, microservices, and AI/LLM integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality web applications.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions using JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
• Design and integrate microservices and distributed applications.
• Work with Docker, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Contribute to application architecture and technical solution design.
• Support and coach other developers and take a leading role within the development team.
• Integrate AI/ML models, LLMs, VLMs, and RAG into applications.
• Work on multimodal AI solutions involving text, images, and video.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in web/software development.
• Strong experience with:
  • JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • React
  • CSS
  • Microservices
  • Docker
  • RabbitMQ
  • PostgreSQL or another relational database
• Strong programming, testing, and debugging skills.
• Experience leading or coaching development teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs/VLMs, prompt engineering, and AI model integration is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of vector databases and RAG is an advantage.
• Experience with data preprocessing, fine-tuning, or multimodal applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of Elixir is an advantage.
• Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency.
