IT Performance Specialist

Mission

We are looking for an experienced IT Performance Specialist to support a major application modernization project and strengthen performance testing practices across the organization. The role combines hands-on performance testing, performance engineering, automation, and coaching of development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Testing

• Define performance testing strategies based on non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and existing frameworks.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing campaigns.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance metrics during test execution.
• Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide technical recommendations for optimization.
• Produce detailed analysis reports and executive summaries for project and architecture teams.

Performance Engineering & Continuous Improvement

• Assess existing performance testing processes, frameworks, and tools.
• Recommend and implement improvements to increase testing maturity and efficiency.
• Support teams in adopting performance testing best practices and methodologies.
• Integrate performance testing activities into test management and delivery processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

Automation & Industrialization

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated performance testing.
• Support migration and modernization of testing workflows, including Jenkins to GitLab CI transitions.
• Maintain and improve distributed testing environments.
• Document testing frameworks, environments, processes, and standards.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and technical coaching.

Required Skills & Experience

Performance Testing

• Expert-level experience with Apache JMeter.
• Strong background in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Experience defining performance testing strategies and non-functional testing frameworks.
• Proven ability to analyze application and infrastructure performance metrics.
• Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending solutions.

Automation & DevOps

• Strong experience with:
