Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Trainer / IT Security Expert to deliver engaging, interactive cybersecurity awareness training for both technical and non-technical employees during a dedicated Cyber Risk Awareness Week. The ideal candidate will create memorable, hands-on learning experiences using real-world attack scenarios, live demonstrations, and practical security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver 2–4 interactive cybersecurity training sessions (1 hour each).
- Explain cybersecurity concepts in a clear and accessible way for both IT and non-IT audiences.
- Demonstrate real-world cyberattack techniques and security threats through practical examples or live demonstrations.
- Promote cybersecurity best practices, including password security, software updates, and secure data handling.
- Train participants on incident response procedures and security responsibilities.
- Raise awareness of emerging technologies and threats, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and quantum computing.
- Encourage a proactive security culture and security-by-design mindset.
- Provide a high-level training concept, learning outcomes, and required equipment.
Required Skills
- Experience delivering cybersecurity awareness training or workshops.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat actors, attack techniques, and cyber hygiene.
- Excellent presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with live demonstrations, simulations, or interactive learning techniques.
Languages
- English: Full professional proficiency (mandatory).
- French: Nice to have.
Deliverables
- Resume or company profile with references to similar engagements.
- High-level outline of the proposed 1-hour training session.
- Confirmation of availability between 28 September and 2 October 2026.
Work Arrangement
- Onsite training in Luxembourg City.
- Approximately 2–4 sessions, each lasting 1 hour, with around 25 participants per session.
