Application Developer (Java Full Stack)

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to support the takeover, maintenance, modernization, and development of a portfolio of business-critical applications within a large enterprise environment. You will work on both maintaining existing systems and re-engineering applications to align with modern development standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications and web services.
  • Participate in the takeover and knowledge transfer of existing applications.
  • Re-engineer and modernize legacy applications using current technologies and best practices.
  • Design and develop application components in collaboration with technical leads and software architects.
  • Build RESTful APIs and full-stack web applications.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, technical workshops, and user meetings.
  • Perform unit testing, technical documentation, deployment, and reporting using Jira and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing codebases in complex multi-system environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of professional Java development experience (full-stack preferred).

    • RESTful APIs & OpenAPI
    • Maven
    • Docker
    • Git
    • NPM
    • PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and relational databases
    • JUnit, Mockito, Cypress (Test-Driven Development)
    • BPMN and UML
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and maintain existing applications.

Work Arrangement
