About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Ansible, Python, and Azure CI/CD to join our team onsite in Eindhoven. You will play a key role in designing scalable automation solutions, managing Git workflows, and integrating orchestration tools to drive infrastructure and application automation.

Must-Have Skills & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for infrastructure/application automation.
  • Implement and manage Git-based workflows (GitLab/GitHub) including branching strategies, version control, and CI/CD integration (Azure CI/CD).
  • Integrate automation with orchestration/scheduling tools like Rundeck, Ansible Tower/AWX, or Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain YAML configurations and Jinja2 templates for scalable, reusable automation.
  • Write and enhance Python scripts for automation logic, validations, or custom Ansible modules.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and optimize reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure teams to promote automation best practices.
  • Ensure all automation adheres to security, compliance, and operational standards.
