About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DeltaV Developer / Automation Engineer to support a major system upgrade and ongoing optimization activities on-site.

In this role, you will play a key part in a DeltaV system migration to version 16, working closely with engineering teams and production stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and optimal system performance.

What You'll Do

You will:

  • Support the migration to DeltaV version 16 on-site
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of automation systems
  • Implement system optimizations based on production requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and external specialists
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability during and after migration
  • Contribute to future automation projects, including new product implementations

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of experience working with DeltaV (Emerson) systems
  • Strong experience in automation engineering and process control environments
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting, debugging, and system optimization
  • Experience supporting system migrations or upgrades
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on-site and collaboratively within technical teams
  • Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written, professional level required)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with production or industrial environments
  • Exposure to new product implementation or system design projects

Work Environment

You will work on-site within a dynamic industrial environment, supporting critical automation systems. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, contributing to both current system upgrades and future technical projects.
