Senior Java Full Stack Developer | Brussels, Belgium | On-Site Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join Agile development teams working on a large-scale digital transformation programme. You will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business-critical applications while collaborating closely with product owners, analysts, and fellow developers.

The successful candidate will thrive in an Agile environment and have strong expertise in Java, Spring, Angular, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications
• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring
• Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular and Bootstrap
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions
• Perform code reviews and contribute to technical improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions
