Senior Data Architect

Location: Brussels, Belgium – Hybrid
Duration: Multi-year assignment, subject to client approval
Level: Senior / Expert

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to develop the future Data Operating Model and Data Architecture, enabling data-driven collaboration, information sharing, reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse the current data organisation, data flows and governance structures.
• Define a future-oriented data management and governance vision.
• Establish data roles, responsibilities and ownership.
• Develop guidelines for data quality, metadata and data management.
• Support the design of a common data architecture.
• Provide recommendations on reporting, analytics, Master Data Management and data governance.

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise in Data Architecture and Data Governance.
• Experience with DAMA-DMBOK, Data Quality, Metadata Management and MDM.
• Knowledge of Data Lifecycle Management, Information Modelling and Data Stewardship.
• Experience establishing data governance across multiple organisations.
• Native/bilingual Dutch and professional working proficiency in English.
