Senior IAM Engineer (DevOps / Cloud)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. Working closely with the IAM Architect, you will be responsible for the technical implementation, automation, and operation of a ForgeRock/Ping Identity-based IAM environment, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient identity services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and maintain the IAM platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and manage authentication and identity protocols, including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and ABAC.
  • Manage IAM infrastructure, version control, and deployment environments.
  • Integrate business applications into the IAM platform.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and resilience strategies (RPO/RTO).
  • Support the implementation of a Zero-Trust security architecture.
  • Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience as an IAM Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Ping Identity / ForgeRock technologies, including PingAM, PingDS, PingIDM, PingIG, and PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud.
  • Experience with Git, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and One Identity Safeguard.
  • Experience implementing disaster recovery and secure identity infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Professional – PingAM
  • AI Level 2 – Solution Engineer
  • Safeguard – Technical Specialist
  • Experience with Zero-Trust security architectures.

Languages

  • Active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
