Role Overview

An experienced and proactive Contract Advisor is required to support a large-scale infrastructure renovation project. The role focuses on ensuring efficient contract management processes, particularly around change management and document reviews, while maintaining clear and structured communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on contract management processes
  • Ensure proper implementation of contract control procedures within the project
  • Coordinate operational contract management activities (including review coordination)
  • Monitor and manage risks related to contract management
  • Facilitate alignment between internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage contract management systems and tools
  • Guide and oversee variation processes (VTWs)
  • Support and manage document review processes (design, execution, and plans)
  • Review and assess formal communication between contractor and client

Project Context

  • The project involves renovation works carried out while operations remain active
  • Requires working in a complex, live infrastructure environment
  • Emphasis on maintaining timelines and minimizing disruption

Requirements

  • Minimum HBO (higher professional education) level of thinking and working
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Contract Advisor or Contract Manager
  • At least 1 year of experience in project control or project management support
  • Experience with formal communication processes between contractor and client
  • Experience working on infrastructure projects
  • Strong command of the Dutch language (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with change management processes in infrastructure projects
  • Experience with contract control methodologies (e.g., system-based contract management)
  • Ability to handle sensitive communication with both internal and external stakeholders

Work Structure

  • Hybrid working model combining on-site presence, office work, and remote work
  • Independent role without direct managerial responsibilities
