IFS Functional Consultant (IFS Cloud | FSM | PSO)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of IFS Cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Field Service Management (FSM) and Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO).

In this role, you will work closely with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system configurations and ensure successful delivery across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional IFS PSO solutions
• System Configuration:
  Conduct workshops and configure IFS FSM, PSO, and related modules (Projects, Supply Chain, HR, Finance)
• Testing & Validation:
  Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Training & Support:
  Develop and deliver end-user training (in Dutch) and provide ongoing system support and improvements
• Integration:
  Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between IFS Cloud and third-party systems
• Documentation:
  Maintain detailed documentation including BRDs, SDDs, and user manuals
• Client Relationship Management:
  Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively

Required Skills & Experience

IFS Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years as an IFS Functional Consultant
• At least 2 full-cycle implementations of IFS Cloud and PSO

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong experience with:
  • IFS FSM (Field Service Management)
  • PSO (Planning & Scheduling Optimization)
  • Related modules: Projects, Supply Chain, HR, Finance

Domain Knowledge

• Experience in field service-driven industries such as:
  • Utilities (electricity, gas, water)
  • Asset-intensive environments

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

Languages

• Fluent in English
• Ability to deliver training in Dutch is required
