Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to end users. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support day-to-day IT operations, and ensure systems run smoothly across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to users (in-person, phone, or email)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights
  • Support operating systems such as Windows and macOS
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees (device setup, access provisioning)
  • Maintain IT documentation and update support tickets
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Ensure security best practices are followed (updates, antivirus, backups)
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
  • Familiarity with Windows OS (macOS/Linux is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is a plus

Preferred Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Exposure to Active Directory or similar user management tools
