SharePoint Architect / Technical Administrator (Digital Workplace)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Architect / Technical Administrator to join a Digital Workplace (Infrastructure & Operations) team.
You will define, govern, and evolve a Microsoft-based collaboration and content platform (SharePoint Online / On-Prem + Power Platform), ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and governance standards.
The role combines architectural ownership, technical expertise, and governance responsibility, acting as a key reference for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve SharePoint architecture (Online and/or On-Prem)
- Establish and enforce governance, standards, and best practices
- Review and validate solution designs
- Guide teams in building scalable and secure SharePoint solutions
- Define architecture patterns (sites, content, access, development rules)
- Translate business needs into compliant technical solutions
- Act as architecture authority in design/governance processes
- Govern Power Platform usage (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Prevent shadow IT through clear standards and controls
- Ensure security, compliance, cost and license optimization
- Align stakeholders across IT and business
Profile
- Strong experience with SharePoint (Online and/or On-Prem)
- Solid Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration background
- Experience with Power Platform governance
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and governance models
- Ability to structure complex requirements into solutions
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills
