About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to support a major business and technology transformation programme spanning multiple domains, countries, and technology platforms.
As a PMO embedded within a project stream, you will work closely with Stream Leads and senior stakeholders to ensure effective planning, governance, risk management, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in complex transformation environments and can confidently operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Coordination
- Support Stream Leads in the daily steering and execution of project activities.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, methodologies, and PMO frameworks.
- Coordinate stream activities and facilitate alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Organize and support project meetings, workshops, steering committees, and governance ceremonies.
- Monitor project plans, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
- Develop mitigation and remediation plans.
- Escalate critical risks and blockers when required.
- Track actions and ensure timely resolution of identified concerns.
Reporting & Executive Communication
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and steering committee materials.
- Deliver regular progress updates and status reports.
- Consolidate information from multiple stakeholders and translate it into clear management insights.
- Develop key messages and recommendations for senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business and technical teams across multiple countries.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions.
- Manage dependencies between project streams and stakeholders.
- Support decision-making processes through structured analysis and reporting.
Project Tooling & Administration
- Maintain accurate project information and reporting within JIRA.
- Ensure rigorous project tracking and documentation standards.
- Monitor project performance metrics and progress indicators.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of PMO experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Proven experience supporting complex projects involving IT replatforming initiatives.
- Strong experience in project governance, planning, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working within multi-country and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and identify practical solutions.

- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with JIRA and project management tools.
