Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Siemens Teamcenter Lead specializing in Active Workspace (AWC) to drive PLM solution design, implementation, and optimization in a complex enterprise environment.

The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with solution design capabilities, enabling you to translate business requirements into scalable PLM architectures. You will act as a key bridge between business process teams (BPA), solution architects, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter & Active Workspace (AWC)

• Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement of Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
• Design and configure Active Workspace (AWC) applications for enterprise PLM usage.
• Develop and maintain UI/UX configurations within AWC environments.
• Implement Declarative UI framework solutions using:
  • JSON-based view models
  • HTML templates
  • UI rules and customization logic
• Optimize user experience and system performance within AWC.

Data Modeling & BMIDE

• Design and maintain Teamcenter data models using BMIDE.
• Configure and manage:
  • Naming Rules
  • Deep Copy Rules
  • Display Rules
• Ensure BMIDE configurations align with business processes and AWC usability.
• Support data governance, structure, and lifecycle management.

Architecture & Design

• Translate business requirements into technical design documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Define PLM solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of Teamcenter environments.
• Support integration design with other enterprise systems where required.

Deployment & Environment Management

• Manage Teamcenter environments using Deployment Center.
• Handle installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
• Support multi-environment lifecycle (DEV, TEST, QA, PROD).
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues.

Development & Support

• Support configuration, customization, and development activities.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in Teamcenter and AWC.
• Perform system testing, validation, and performance tuning.
• Ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between:
  • Business Process Analysts (BPA)
  • Solution Architects
  • Development Teams
• Gather and analyze requirements and convert them into implementable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for PLM implementation.
• Facilitate workshops and solution design discussions.

Required Skills

Must-Have

• 8+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Active Workspace (AWC).
• Strong expertise in AWC Declarative UI framework:
  • JSON view models
  • HTML templates
  • UI customization
• Strong BMIDE knowledge:
  • Data modeling
  • Naming rules
  • Deep copy rules
  • Display rules
• Experience creating technical design documentation from business requirements.
• Experience with Deployment Center and environment management.
• Strong understanding of PLM processes and enterprise engineering workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large enterprise PLM environments.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter integrations with ERP or CAD systems.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams.
• Exposure to manufacturing or engineering domains.
