Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Handyman to join our client in Edison, NJ. The primary responsibility of this role is assembling cabinets, reading measurements, and using hand and power tools to complete projects accurately.

No prior cabinet experience is required however, candidates must have some basic handyman skills and knowledge of power tools. The client is willing to provide training to individuals who are committed, dependable, and eager to work.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble cabinets, shelving units, and related furniture components
• Accurately read and interpret tape measurements, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Use power and hand tools (e.g., drills, saws, levels) safely and effectively
• Maintain quality and safety standards during all assembly and installation tasks
• Organize and clean work areas; assist with unloading materials as needed
• Perform basic maintenance and handyman duties related to cabinet installation
• Follow all safety protocols and work independently or with a team

Requirements:

• Some experience in general handyman work or trades (carpentry, maintenance, or similar)
• Familiarity with using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and work with measurements accurately
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to and from Edison, NJ job site
• Strong work ethic and commitment to reliability and quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work in cabinet assembly, carpentry, or construction is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a bonus but not required
