Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager with a strong focus on business development to join our dynamic team in the staffing and recruitment industry. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client accounts, and acting as the primary liaison between our staffing firm and our clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in staffing sales, understands workforce solutions, and excels at building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development:
    • Identify, pursue, and secure new client accounts through cold calling, networking, market research, and referrals.
    • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and position customized staffing solutions.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage and grow existing accounts by deepening relationships, understanding client needs, and upselling additional services.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication, conflict resolution, and overall satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Recruiting Team:
    • Partner with internal recruiters to ensure timely and successful delivery of candidates that meet client expectations.
    • Communicate job requirements and provide feedback to recruiters to refine search efforts.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and forecasted revenue in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the staffing, recruitment, or workforce solutions industry.
  • Strong understanding of contingent labor, temporary staffing, and/or direct hire recruitment models.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow business accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Existing client network or book of business in a specific vertical (e.g., IT, healthcare, light industrial).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission + performance incentives
