Job Title: Catering Server

Job Summary
IWS group is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Catering Server to support events of all sizes. In this role, you will assist with food service, event setup and breakdown, and ensure guests receive a positive, high-quality dining experience. Ideal candidates are attentive, quick on their feet, and able to maintain a professional attitude in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, including tables, linens, buffet stations, utensils, and décor as instructed.

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a polite and efficient 

  manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event

• Refill food trays, beverages, and supplies as needed

• Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines

• Assist with clearing plates, glassware, and trash from guest areas

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and kitchen staff
• Break down event spaces after service, including packing equipment and cleaning stations
• Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to guest needs or concerns

Qualifications

• Prior serving or catering experience preferred but not required

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods

• Works well under pressure in fast-paced environments

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
