Cabinet Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Summary
A Cabinet Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports customers, contractors, designers, and dealers by managing cabinet orders, answering product questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from order placement through delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with cabinet product information, pricing, specifications, and availability
- Process cabinet orders, quotes, change orders, returns, and warranty claims
- Communicate with builders, contractors, designers, vendors, and internal departments
- Track shipments and provide delivery updates
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation
- Review cabinet layouts, measurements, and order details for accuracy
- Coordinate replacement parts and service requests
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Support sales staff and project managers with administrative tasks
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Knowledge of cabinetry, construction, or home improvement products preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience with order entry systems and Microsoft Office
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read cabinet specifications, layouts, or blueprints is a plus
