    Non-CDL Box Truck Driver & Job Lead

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Driver & Job Lead to transport materials and lead a crew of 5–10 employees at various job sites.

    The Driver/Lead will be responsible for safely operating a non-CDL box truck, coordinating the crew, and ensuring household goods are handled, wrapped, loaded, and moved according to job paperwork and customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate a non-CDL box truck between the packing location and assigned job sites.
    • Drive approximately 2–4 hours to and from job locations as required.
    • Lead and supervise a crew of approximately 5–10 employees, depending on job size.
    • Review job paperwork and ensure the crew follows all required instructions.
    • Direct employees in moving household goods to designated dumpsters or other locations.
    • Ensure items are properly wrapped, protected, and loaded onto the truck according to job instructions.
    • Coordinate crew activities and maintain an organized and productive work environment.
    • Monitor loading and unloading to help prevent damage to property and materials.
    • Communicate with management regarding job-site progress, issues, or changes.
    • Ensure required paperwork and job documentation are completed accurately.
    • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
    • Perform physical labor as needed, including lifting, moving, wrapping, and loading household goods.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Must successfully complete a 7-year motor vehicle/license background check.
    • Must successfully pass a drug test.
    • Previous box truck or similar driving experience preferred.
    • Previous crew-lead or supervisory experience preferred.
    • Ability to drive extended distances, including 2–4 hours per trip.
    • Ability to lift, carry, move, wrap, and load household goods and materials.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to read and follow written instructions and job paperwork.
    • Comfortable using an iPad or iPhone to enter text, complete job documentation, and record information electronically.
    • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
    • Ability to effectively lead and work with a crew of 5–10 employees.
    • Comfortable working at job sites where water, mold, smoke, or other property damage may have occurred.
    • Comfortable working at various job sites and in different weather conditions.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry household goods and other materials.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
    • Ability to safely load and unload materials from the box truck.
    • Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday.
