About the job Enterprise Architect

As a Remote Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing IT strategies, roadmaps, and architectural frameworks that align with our business objectives. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems across the organization. This is a U.S.-based remote position requiring candidates with strong experience in enterprise IT architecture, cloud technologies, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, principles, and roadmaps that align with business goals.

* Design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performing IT systems, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.

* Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance existing IT architecture and support innovation.

* Establish governance processes and architectural standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and risk management.

* Lead architecture review boards and provide technical guidance to development and operations teams.

* Identify integration opportunities across applications, data platforms, and business processes.

* Monitor and assess IT performance metrics, recommending improvements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

* Mentor and provide guidance to IT architects and technical leads across the organization.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred).

* Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in IT architecture or related roles.

* Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in medium to large-scale organizations.

* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architecture patterns.

* Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent).

* Experience with software development, application lifecycle management, and integration strategies.

* Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, data governance, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to business leaders.

* U.S. residency required; eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with digital transformation initiatives and enterprise modernization projects.

* Knowledge of AI/ML integration, IoT, or emerging enterprise technologies.

* Enterprise-level project management or IT strategy experience.
