About the job Implementation Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Implementation Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful onboarding, configuration, and deployment of our products and solutions for new clients across the United States.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset. You will serve as the primary point of contact during the implementation phase, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Project Execution
* Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new clients from kickoff through go-live.
* Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements, workflows, and business objectives.
* Configure system settings, integrations, and user access according to agreed specifications.
* Develop and manage implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Product, Support, Sales) to ensure smooth deployment.
Technical Configuration & Integration
* Assist clients with system setup, data migration, and testing processes.
* Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
* Validate system functionality prior to client go-live.
* Provide documentation and workflow guidance tailored to client environments.
Training & Support
* Deliver remote training sessions via video conferencing platforms.
* Create implementation documentation, user guides, and process workflows.
* Provide post-launch support during stabilization period.
* Ensure smooth transition to Customer Success or Support teams after implementation.
Communication & Reporting
* Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
* Provide regular status updates and risk mitigation plans.
* Track key implementation metrics and maintain accurate records in CRM or project management tools.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project coordination roles.
* Experience working in a SaaS, technology, healthcare, fintech, or enterprise software environment preferred.
* Strong understanding of system configuration and data workflows.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet).
* Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with APIs, data imports/exports, and basic system integrations.
* Knowledge of change management principles.
* Experience conducting virtual training sessions.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities.
Work Environment
* Fully remote position (United States only).
