The employer is a Public Listed Company looking for a seasonal Senior HR Manager / HR Manager to overseas the arms of the Human Resource functions for their Healthcare segments of glove manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead and implement effective HR strategy & talent acquisition strategies
  2. Represent employees in Human Rights related matters. Promoting equity and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
  3. Lead the implementation of ETI Base Code
  4. Planning and implementing requirements of SMETA requirements in regards to Human Right matters;
  5. Ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to requirements of this Code of Conduct especially in Human Right matters and applicable legislation.
  6. Reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on people matters.
  7. Drive the talent performance culture. Ensure people capabilities are designed, built and deployed to meet the evolving cross-segment talent needs
  8. Design and implement integrated people management solutions to drive business success
  9. Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
  10. Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
  11. Advising on rewards and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, undertaking regular salary reviews, negotiating with staff and their representatives, lead payroll and maintaining employee records;
  12. Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
  13. Functional consultant to the HR Business Partner organization; design and implement people solutions specific to a particular line of business.
  14. Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of industry issues and macro-economic labour markets.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working managerial experience
  3. Knowledge in EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and Employment Acts
  4. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
