The employer is a Public Listed Company looking for a seasonal Senior HR Manager / HR Manager to overseas the arms of the Human Resource functions for their Healthcare segments of glove manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and implement effective HR strategy & talent acquisition strategies
- Represent employees in Human Rights related matters. Promoting equity and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
- Lead the implementation of ETI Base Code
- Planning and implementing requirements of SMETA requirements in regards to Human Right matters;
- Ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to requirements of this Code of Conduct especially in Human Right matters and applicable legislation.
- Reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on people matters.
- Drive the talent performance culture. Ensure people capabilities are designed, built and deployed to meet the evolving cross-segment talent needs
- Design and implement integrated people management solutions to drive business success
- Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
- Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
- Advising on rewards and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, undertaking regular salary reviews, negotiating with staff and their representatives, lead payroll and maintaining employee records;
- Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
- Functional consultant to the HR Business Partner organization; design and implement people solutions specific to a particular line of business.
- Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of industry issues and macro-economic labour markets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working managerial experience
- Knowledge in EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and Employment Acts
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
