Position Summary:

The SAP Workflow and Fiori Consultant designs, implements, and optimizes business processes using SAP Workflow and SAP Fiori technologies. This role ensures streamlined approvals, efficient SAP UI/UX experiences, and robust integration with SAP modules and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workflow design and orchestration
    • Model, configure, and optimize SAP Business Workflow and SAP Business Process Automation workflows.
    • Design approval chains, task assignments, escalation rules, and SLA-driven processes.
  • Fiori/apps development and modernization
    • Create and customize SAP Fiori apps (UI5) to improve user experience for core processes (e.g., approvals, OTIF, order-to-cash).
    • Configure OData services, widgets, and responsive UI behavior.
  • Integration and data flow
    • Align workflows with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, PS) and external systems via IDocs, SOAP/REST, RFCs, or PI/PO.
    • Ensure data consistency, error handling, and end-to-end process visibility.
  • Technical implementation
    • Customize workflow components (tasks, agents, rules, containers) and implement business rules with BRF+ or NWBC/UI5.
    • Develop and consume RESTful services for workflow-driven processes.
  • Testing and deployment
    • Create test plans for workflows and Fiori apps; perform unit, integration, and UAT testing.
    • Manage transports, versioning, and change control; assist in cutovers.
  • Analytics and optimization
    • Implement workflow analytics, process mining, and dashboards to monitor bottlenecks and SLA compliance.
    • Propose continuous improvements to simplify processes and boost user adoption.
  • Governance and best practices
    • Enforce SAP UI/UX standards, security roles, and data privacy considerations.
    • Document design decisions, runbooks, and support handoffs.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in SAP workflow design, SAP Fiori/UI5 development, or related process automation. OR 2 E2E project lifecycle completion.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA and SAP Gateway, SAPUI5, OData, and Fiori Launchpad
  • SAP Fiori Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer).
  • Experience with SAP Workflow email notifications, push notifications, and task UI customization.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA C/4HANA workflow scenarios and digital process automation.
