Role Overview

The Oracle Financial Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials modules. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional solutions, ensuring seamless financial operations and system efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement, support, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
  • Configure and support modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM)
  • Prepare functional documentation such as BRD, MD050, MD070, and testing documents
  • Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, reports, and system integrations
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
  • Provide user support, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution
  • Ensure system enhancements align with business and compliance requirements

Skills

  • Strong expertise in Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
  • Good understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
  • Experience in documentation and stakeholder communication
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials (implementation and support)
  • Experience working on end-to-end ERP projects is preferred
  • Relevant Oracle certifications will be a plus
