We are seeking a skilled HPE Hardware Support Engineer responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of HPE enterprise infrastructure including servers and storage systems. The role involves onsite and remote support, hardware diagnostics, part replacement, and coordination with OEM support to ensure high service availability and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain HPE enterprise hardware including:
    • HPE ProLiant servers
    • HPE BladeSystem / Synergy (if applicable)
  • Perform rack & stack, cabling, and hardware health checks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware faults (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, PSU, NIC, RAID controllers).
  • Replace faulty components as per OEM guidelines.
  • Perform firmware upgrades and patching.
  • Configure and troubleshoot RAID arrays.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities.
  • Use iLO for remote monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Coordinate with HPE support for warranty validation and part dispatch.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with SLA and customer service commitments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in IT or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise hardware support.
  • Relevant HPE certification (preferred but not mandatory).
