Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer specializing in Hybrid Infrastructure & Identity Management to support and manage enterprise environments across Microsoft ecosystems. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of hybrid infrastructure, messaging systems, and identity platforms.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing Exchange environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions, while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support hybrid environments across Exchange Server (2016/2019), Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, CU deployments, backup validation, and security hardening.
  • Administer Entra ID synchronization (Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync), Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance.
  • Troubleshoot hybrid authentication, federation, directory replication, and identity lifecycle issues.
  • Manage Exchange environments including DAG health, mail flow, connectors, certificates, and performance.
  • Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and SLA-driven issue resolution.
  • Execute mailbox/database operations, hybrid configurations, and migration activities (legacy/cross-forest).
  • Support SCCM/Intune for OS lifecycle management including Windows 10/11 upgrades, patching, and compliance enforcement.
  • Ensure secure and stable endpoint deployments.
  • Support email archiving platforms such as Enterprise Vault and Barracuda, including policy configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the primary technical resource for assigned customers, ensuring SLA-based service delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation including SOPs, architecture diagrams, and change logs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support modernization and security enhancements across identity, messaging, and hybrid infrastructure.

Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online (Hybrid).
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, domain controllers, and replication.
  • Proficiency in Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, and SSO.
  • Experience with SCCM/Intune for endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Vault or Barracuda archiving solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hybrid identity, email routing, and infrastructure issues.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security configurations and Zero Trust principles.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in hybrid infrastructure and enterprise messaging environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Exchange, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
  • Experience with identity management and endpoint management tools.
  • Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300) preferred.
