We are currently looking for a Senior Planner. The purpose of the role is to plan and manage a profitable product range based on historical, trend and customer/store analysis in line with the Company's strategy. This position will be based at our head office in Durban.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or any relevant tertiary qualification.
• 5 years of Retail Planning experience in a Clothing Retailer.
• Computer literacy (Excel and MS Office) as well as experience in Dolphin.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.

Responsibilities:

• Review sales performance of stores on a daily basis.
• Order management – ensure that orders arrive on time and are allocated to the correct stores.
• Partner with the Buyer to develop a product strategy.
• Complete pre-allocations and action new allocations daily.
• Monitor and analyse performance to determine the necessary action required to maintain or improve.
• Provide updated trade reports during weekly meetings.
• Track and review stock levels required for new store openings.
• Review and adjust future forecasts (all KPI's) at Range level based on current and historical performance.
• Share revised OTB sheet with buyer if OTB has changed.
• Review weekly delivery flow to ensure that deliveries are spread out evenly throughout the month.
• Mentor and Coaching of Juniors in the Team.
• Store visits.
