Our client is a not for profit organisation and is entering a new phase of growth and is currently recruiting a dynamic Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director (CEO/ED).

The emphasis is on guiding the development and implementation of the organization's programs in alignment with Vision 2025, fostering strategic relationships with existing and prospective partners, and ensuring financial sustainability while strengthening regional operations. The ideal candidate will lead the team, establish a formal presence in Saudi Arabia, and expand activities across the Gulf region to increase awareness of PI's mission as it builds relationships with key corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Foster a collaborative work environment to attract and retain a diverse, high-performing team. Ensure timely recruitment, effective team development, and progress tracking to communicate successes to stakeholders.
  • Fundraising: Develop and diversify funding sources, secure regional and international funders, onboard corporate sponsors, identify new income streams, and create high-quality proposals and reports.
  • Communications: Ensure consistent messaging, build strong media relationships, and engage in media opportunities to boost organizational visibility.
  • Organisational Growth: Lead program development and execution, expand presence across the Gulf Region, and build and enhance relationships with partners and funders.
  • Finance: Maintain financial sustainability with proper record-keeping and internal controls, manage the budget, report financial activities monthly, and address any issues proactively.

Experience/Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as CEO/ED running a similar-sized organisation (20+ people) with a minimal annual budget of USD 5,000,000.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising in the private sector and nonprofit space.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for bilingual candidates (English – Arabic).
  • Experience working in the Gulf Region.
  • Good general knowledge and an interest in corporate governance and its related topics (transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, ESG, family business governance etc.
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative in approach to management.
  • Ability to set and oversee annual work programs and manage the process of work programme approvals in coordination with the Board.
  • Experience working and reporting to a Board of Directors and cultivating Board member relationships.
