Our client is a leading B2B lending fintech solution provider poised to disrupt financial services with innovative technology. They are headquartered in Dubai with aspirations to expand across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will operate as both a strategic leader and financial architect. As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will drive capital strategy, optimize the company's financial structure, and ensure robust governance across all markets. This is a high-impact role designed for a forward-thinking finance executive who can partner with the CEO and Board to scale the business globally. The CFO will also play a Chief Strategy Officer-like role, translating financial insight into growth strategy, investor confidence, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Finance & Capital Optimization: Define and execute financial strategy aligned with Kee's growth, market expansion, and technology roadmap. Lead capital structure design, equity optimization, and long-term financial planning. Support inorganic growth, including M&A, joint ventures, and platform partnerships.
- Global Capital Markets & Investor Relations: Develop and lead fundraising strategy with global VCs, institutional investors, DFIs, and sovereign funds. Build compelling financial narratives and manage investor engagement from pitch to close. Ensure alignment between investor expectations and Kee's long-term impact-focused mission.
- Financial Sovereignty & Data Integrity: Own financial reporting, audit, treasury, tax, budgeting, and compliance functions. Implement scalable systems for financial planning and performance tracking across geographies. Uphold transparency, integrity, and sovereignty of financial information across all entities.
- Executive & Ecosystem Stakeholder Engagement Serve: as a credible voice with regulators, investors, banks, platform partners, and board members. Act as a senior advisor to the CEO and Board on business model evolution, capital strategy, and market dynamics. Drive alignment between financial decisions, technology development, and platform impact goals
Key Qualifications
- MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or ACCA.
- Background in technology, strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture investing is a strong advantage.
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally across fintech, embedded finance, B2B SaaS, or technology-led businesses.
- Proven success in global fundraising and capital structuring. Deep familiarity with financial ecosystems in MENAT, Africa, or the Global South.
- Executive-level communication skills and the ability to represent the company at the highest levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong hands-on capabilities in financial operations and risk management.
