About the job Senior Analyst - Capital Markets & Investor Relations
Our client is an AI Integrated Financing Platform on a mission to enable credit access at scale for underserved SMEs and consumers across MENAT and the Global South. They enable seamless access to capital by embedding intelligent credit infrastructure into digital ecosystems including payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, vertical SaaS providers, telcos, and super apps. Positioned at the intersection of financial services, advanced technologies, and innovation, they are shaping the future of embedded finance.
They are seeking Senior Analyst / VP - Capital Markets & Investor Relations to lead capital markets strategy and investor engagement for our client, an AI-led embedded lending innovator and drive financial storytelling and fundraising efforts to support our clients mission of scalable, inclusive credit access in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to the capital markets vision of the group. Create alignment with the private and public markets in terms of monetization of assets. This includes assets across loan portfolios, stakes in joint ventures, IP, royalty, and subsidiaries in multiple locations. Help create optimal capital structures in multiple locations and open up creative avenues of raising funds via innovative equity, debt, and structured instruments across the group.
- Ensure internal and external communications / decks are aligned around the mission, vision, and business strategy. Oversee and participate in board / shareholder / investor presentations ensuring integrity and comprehensiveness of information / insights / outlook
- Develop and oversee Financial Modelling Valuation, for B2B SaaS verticals of the group, build the IP framework and streamline / run due diligence across the group to provide a comprehensive understanding of the companys financial health, help enhance the value of intellectual property, and ensure all business operations and transactions are compliant, synced in with strategy and optimized for efficiency.
- Build detailed modelling frameworks for the teams to adopt, bringing in global best practices, using advanced analytics / techniques for financials statements, product / business economics, business / budget plan, execution strategy, competitive landscaping, and comp analysis to predict future financial performance, guide strategic planning, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Monitor local, regional, global trends and industry developments and research the investor / embedded financial services / AI lending & credit landscape to help the company / group stay abreast of market developments / insights re: potential business opportunities and threats, capital-raise / unlock / M&A opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Oversee the production / quality of all relevant MIS financial / management reports, ensuring that these are accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for investors, effectively communicating financial information and company performance to ensure that they are well informed about the Companys / Groups performance, which can influence their investment decisions and trust in the Company.
- Help articulate, distil, and communicate the company and group mission, strategy, achievements, and outlook to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the companys direction and can align their efforts towards shared goals.
- Prepare and present financial information to analysts, investors, and company management including but not limited to developing presentations for and participating in investor conferences and other relevant events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with analysts, bankers, institutional investors, advisors and individual shareholders including but not limited to organizing / participating in investor meetings and conference calls.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic investor relations plan to build strong relationships with investors, maintain their trust, and ensure their continued support for the companys initiatives.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a startup environment.
- Bachelors degree from a target school preferred; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Expertise in financial modelling, including DCF and cash flow analysis.
- Strong investor relations and client communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Prior experience in top-tier consultancies, investment banks, or PE firms is highly desirable.
