Our client is a diversified global organization offering end-to-end solutions and operating across various sectors including education, agriculture, trading, engineering procurement and construction (EPC), energy, and mining. The group focuses on improving essential infrastructure in developing countries, by designing and managing projects such as roads, bridges, power plants, and water treatment facilities, actively engaging in renewable energy initiatives, and investing in solar power projects and wind energy farms.
They are seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Chief of Staff to work closely with the chairman in driving business priorities, enhancing executive productivity, and enabling cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives. This individual will act as the chairman's right hand, providing insight, coordination, and operational leverage across group businesses. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, strong executive presence, and a proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor and sounding board to the Chairman, helping shape and drive execution of key business goals and transformation initiatives.
- Act as the central liaison between the Chairman and internal stakeholders including CXOs, business unit heads, and key external partners.
- Own and track the Chairmans priority agendamonitor project progress, ensure accountability, and resolve bottlenecks across teams.
- Lead preparation of board decks, leadership reviews, investment proposals, and high-stakes presentations.
- Conduct deep dives into market research, competitive analysis, and operational data to enable informed decision-making.
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional initiatives ensuring timelines, deliverables, and KPIs are met.
- Represent the Chairman in internal meetings when needed, capturing key action points and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism in managing sensitive business and personnel matters.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in a strategic or operational role such as Chief of Staff, Strategy Manager, Executive Advisor, or Senior EA with project oversight, preferably in diversified or project-led organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, drive alignment across business units, and influence at the executive level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with fluency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Tableau).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience under pressure, and the ability to manage ambiguity with confidence.
